Please see below for details.

Out next meeting is on Thursday, October 19 from 1-2:30 pm in Portage. We will now meet every other month (no September meeting). We'll have a special guest speaker at our October meeting: Nancy Pierce, Clinical Coordinator of Survivors of Suicide Services at Journey Mental Health Center, will discuss postvention initiatives: how to prevent suicide in those who have lost someone by suicide. Hope to see you there!

HELP MAKE THIS YEAR'S WALK A SUCCESS

  • Register ahead of time: it helps us to prepare. Same day registration is also available. Your $10 registration fee includes a free t-shirt!
  • We invite you to walk in a team, such as your family, civic group, sports team, church, employer, or club. Individuals and teams are encouraged to help us raise funds prior to the Walk. We will announce the team and individual that raise the most money on the day of the Walk.
  • If you would like to volunteer at the Walk, please contact us or check the box on the registration form. Thank you!
  • Help us advertise the walk: display our Walk for Hope flyer at locations in your community and share it online: email, social media, websites, and calendars!
  • We are actively seeking partners that can serve as Walk for Hope sponsors. As a sponsor at the bronze level or above, your company or family name will be included on event-day signage and here on our website. For more information, download the Sponsorship Pledge Form.
  • THANK YOU for your help!

Help distribute our two posters, shown above!
We would be happy to deliver copies of our newly printed posters (11 X 15 inches) for you to display in your workplace, school, organization, or other location. Think breakrooms, bathrooms, waiting rooms, events, and other public or private spaces. Just let me know how many of each of the posters you would like and where to drop them off. Thank you for helping us spread our main messages: You can Prevent Suicide and Your World Needs You.

Thank you for your support!
Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light." --Helen Keller
